Once your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email from us. For changes or cancellations to your order, please contact us at within 24 hours of placing your order. If the order process has begun, we will not be able to make any adjustments to your order.

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number once your order has been shipped.

All items purchased on sale are FINAL SALE.

If for some reason your purchase doesn’t work out, we accept returns within 14 days for refund only. Please email within 7 days of receipt of your order for return authorization. All items must be unused and in new condition with all tags still attached.

Returns that are damaged will not be accepted, so please make sure you re-package your items carefully. All shipping charges are non-refundable and all return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend all returns be sent insured and with tracking as we cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged products.

Please allow 5-7 business days for your return to be processed.

We are not able to process online exchanges. If you would like a different item in exchange, you may return the original item and then place a new order. If you need assistance, please contact us.



All Domestic US shipping is by UPS or USPS. All orders are shipped from Irvine CA. Lead time and shipping varies depending on the product. Information will be specified in each product description. In stock items will ship within 5-7 business days. If an item in your order has a longer lead time, the entire order will wait to ship. To ship items separately either place separate orders or contact us for separate shipping charges. Domestic shipping costs are calculated as follows:

up to $49 – $8.95

$50 to $99 – $14.95

$100 to $149 – $16.95

$150 to $199 – $21.95

$200 to $299 – $25.95

$300 to $399 – $32.95

$400 to $499 – $38.95

$500 to $749 – $48.95

$750 to $999 – $63.95

All orders over $1,000 qualify for free shipping, unless item is marked as “Freight Shipping.”



Large furniture items marked “Freight Shipping” will be shipped at the Large Item Rate. This price is calculated after the order is placed, meaning you will not be charged for shipping while placing your online order. You will receive your freight charges in a seperate email. Freight charges vary due to the size of the item and location it is being shipped to.

Shop by Design Works does not have an in-house delivery service. All shipments and deliveries are done via third party companies. We will not be held liable for any damages after product has left our warehouse. Any transit damage discovered after the fact and not noted in writing on the bill of lading will preclude a damage claim with the appropriate company. It is the responsibility of the receiver to inspect all items before signing off on the BOL or allowing the driver to leave. If your order arrives in such a condition, please contact us immediately. We will only accept responsibility for defective or damaged product if it is determined to be a manufacturing issue.
